Taking stock in the middle of the week

I've had a busy week, and I think it is only going to get worse. The week started promising, I had a birthday a couple of weeks ago and still had not given myself my birthday treat. Well monday I decided it was time to get myself a new handhel multimedia productivity computer (a new cell phone). When you are in New York, there is only one place to go if you want something cool that you really cant get in the USA. That place is Chinatown. After looking around four an hour or so, I was on my way home with a shiny new Nokia N70 (I will talk about that monster later). Before I went home I had to make an obligatory stop at Buddha Bodai. This is best chinese restaurant in the world. This pretty much meant that day was nearly perfect.
Tuesday was great it was my birthday. A couple of my friends took me out to Wolf and Lamb ( this place has the most masculine name of any kosher restaurant in New York. Then we went to Nat Sherman and enjoyed a cigar. It was a great day, tons of testostorone, the kind of thing a man gets to enjoy less and less as he gets older.
But today, Today has not been very good. Despite the fact that one very good thing happened, overall I would have to say today wasnt as good as the rest of the week. I have a deal that I think is falling apart, this has totally overshadowed the whole day. Despite the fact that it was a beautiful day, and despite the fact that I enjoyed the things that I did today, and despite the fact that I had another positive thing happen (can't tell you about it, 'cause it's a secret) at the end of the day I dont feel good about it as a whole.
Maybe Thursday will be different, but I doubt it.

I am going to be trying something new.

I have wanted to start a Blog for a little while, and a few weeks ago with the help of a cool mobile computing device and a peice of software for it called Splashblog, I started doing something called mobloging (check it out out at www.splashblog.com/captainmicahp). A moblog is a weblog comprised of entries made from a mobile device, typically a mobile phone. I have really been enjoying this, and for the first time I have become a bit of a shutterbug, and looking for subjects to snap. In addition to this first moblog (available at www.splashblog.com/captainmicahp) I have made a couple of blog posts on myspace, but I found that experience to be lacking, mainly due to the fact that myspace is dumb. So in this space, I will hope to be doing alot of illustrated blogging. It is my sincere hop that I am not the only person who ever reads this.
